Much Big News

As you may know Mike reenlisted for three more years. We had been talking about it for months; before deployment. So while Mike was on deployment he took action and re-upped his contract.

Not only did Mike reenlisted this deployment, he also took his 2nd class exam (to become an E5). This morning while I was still sleeping (Kaiden was generous enough to let me sleep till about 730), Mike texted me and this is what he said "Hey baby good morning. I love you. And I made 2nd class. The results from the test came out today." Well, there you go... Mike made 2nd class!! I'm excited for him and very proud of him.

Kaiden & his Daddy

Mike & Kaiden have been bounding these last few days. Its like they have known each other since Kaiden was born. I think Kaiden just know who's his Daddy. While Mike was over seas and had a chance to call me I would get all happy. So Kaiden knows that if Mommy gets happy when she hears daddy's voice. Then Daddy must be a good guy!!
Mike is crazy about the little man. He holds him none stop - always kissing and hugging him. I'm very thankful that Mike is home. And is doing a great job with the little man.
Here are a few photos of them together. Tag lines are at the bottom of the photos.

Kaiden slept the entire time - lol.

Peleliu Home Coming

Kaiden, Eli & I arrive on base at 730 in the morning. The Peleliu was pulling into port at 9. We had to be early, since we were VIP - lol. Mike called me from Point Loma. That's about an hour from their pier. After we got off the phone it started to rain. Didn't stop raining till we got home. To top that off Mike stood on top of the ship - manning the rails. So He was drenched!! But it was still nice to see him getting off that ship. Well here are a few photos. Kaiden is ready to meet his Daddy. His in his little sailors outfit.
I'm just trying to keep myself warm.Mindy, Jess & I are just hanging out by my car. Kaiden was sleeping in his car seat - keeping warm!Eli & I making faces while hiding from the rain, under an umbrella. My favorite part!! Mike was 1 of 10 new Daddy's - they got off the ship first.
All us new Mommy's were very happy and excited about that.
We were in a hurry to get out of there, so we were not very social with anyone.

Mike Got A "booh booh"

Mike got a "booh booh". He was walking through one of the passageways and there are boxes sticking off the walls everywhere. He looked down for a second and that’s when he ran into one of those boxes. He hit his forehead pretty hard and blood started dripping down his face. He went to medical and they said he didn’t need stitches or anything. They just cleaned it up and sent him on his way. They put a piece of special tape on it but he took it off. His always done that. He even takes out his own stitches and stuff.

...Mike...

I married the sweetest guy in the world. I know in this photo he looks a little crazy and evil... especially with that moustache. But underneath the moustache and crazy eye look, he could never hurt a fly. I love this man!!

Mike & His Mustache

LOL, I must be a mean wife or something to that nature. Mike sent me some new photo's of him showing off his mustache. I can't stop laughing! I showed my friend Stephanie and she couldn't stop laughing. She sent the photo's to her husband Ryne, he wrote back saying "LMAO, owww how cute". So I thought I would share these photo's with you. ENJOY!!!

My Mike...

I really miss him! One week has gone by, only 23 weeks to go. YaY!!! They arrived in Hawaii on Saturday afternoon and they've departed this afternoon... where? I'm not suppose to tell! Just pray for him and all the other sailor's and they're families!
Well, Mike and all the guys in Crash & Salvage have decided to grow moustaches. Mike sent me a photo of his moustache, lol! Its only a 3 or 4 day mustache, but he looks so funny. He says his going to keep it! Well, I told him if he didn't look to cute with it, he would so keep it through out deployment. That way none of those girlie's hit on him. But when he gets home, he is shaving it off. Amazingly enough it does not look orange or reddish yet. Whatever keeps those guys entertained is fine by me... they are all crazy and funny! I decided to share this photo with you guys. I find it funny, because it is just not him & because of his facial expression. Anyway, enjoy!
