BANANAS

Kaiden really loves bananas. He gets excited when he sees them on the table. He eats one banana everyday. Not in one sitting... throughout the day. We normally slice them up, but today I thought he was big enough to eat one all by himself.

So happy he's eating his favorite fruit!!

Bath Time

Bath time has become Kaiden's favorite time. First, we let him walk around the house completely naked, then we give him a bath, then after his bath we make sure to get all the dirty and soapy water out of the tub. And fill it with new clean water... he goes nuts kicking his little feet and clapping the water with his little hands. And he laughs the entire time!!

Beach with the Girls!!

Today Kaiden & I went to the beach with the girls. Both of the Andrea's, Denisha, Brenda and Jake (Brenda's husband.) Jake is not a girl, but he was spending time with his wife before he had to leave for deployment.
I took my camara to take photos of us being silly and playing in the water and sand. But when I got home to my surprise I only took three photos, and of course they were of Kaiden!!
It was a great day for the beach, nice and hot. With a wonderful ocean breeze!!

All Star Baby

Today we dressed Kaiden up in a all star outfit and hat. He was also sitting in the front seat of the truck, he told us that he would be driving since he looked totally cool!!

Exploring

The other day I walked out of the kitchen and found Kaiden stuck on his little truck. He kinda yelped, but instead of helping him I grabbed my camara for a quick photo. As I was taking the photo he was crawling over his truck.

Now that he crawls, he loves to explore the apartment. He also pulls himself up to stand. But he can't walk just yet. He is starting to balance himself a little more. But he definitely loves to explore, touch and grab everything!

San Diego County Fair

This morning we went to the county fair at Del Mar fairgrounds. It was a nice day! The traffic and lines to get in weren’t so much fun, but once you were in it wasn’t that bad. There were at least 30 different greasy food stands, maybe 15 rides and games for adults. And they had an infield/kids zone. Kaiden was way too small for any of the rides. The only thing he was remotely allowed on was the carousel, Mike & I took turns riding with him. We had a lot of fun. It was a good day as a family in San Diego, and Kaiden might have gotten a little tan!
Hopefully next time we go to a fair, Kaiden is old enough to fully enjoy it!!

Honduran Enchilladas

Wednesday has become family dinner time over here. Yeni comes over every Wednesday to play with Kaiden, eat and catch up. We've done it three times already and so far its not a total drag, lol. We had Honduran Enchilladas, they turned out pretty good.

Yeni brought a friend with her this time, his name is Michael. His a nice guy who works on the same ship as Mike and he goes to the same church.
