Happy Halloween, Zoo.

Today, all day is Halloween. We did not take Kaiden trick or treating today. Because we took him on Thursday! And a two year old doesn't need too much candy. Instead we took him to the zoo! We didn't tell him where we were going, all we told him is that he was going to have fun. The moment we pulled up to the zoo Kaiden was yelling out of excitement. Saying "down, down" and "snakes". Kaiden is fascinated with creepy crawlers and reptiles. He had such a great time. He got to see and hear the lion, tiger and leopard... they were pacing back and worth in their cages. Making rawring nosies and weird sounds. And he had fun looking at the snakes, he kept saying "WOW" and would tell Mike & I about the snake we were looking at. It was a great family trip to the zoo.

Mike made homemade jalapeno poppers when we got home from the zoo. Best jalapeno poppers I ever had.

Trick or Treat!

This was a very important halloween for Mike & I, it was Kaiden's first time to Trick or Treat. Of course he went trick or treating to Andrea Y.'s house when he was 1 month old... he got baby food from her. But this time he got CANDY! Not only did he go trick or treating, he helped me pass out candy to the trick or treaters that came to our house.
It was really cool, Mike got Kaiden to say "trick or treat" a few times. He said it a few time to our neighbors. He knew if he went to peoples houses he would get candy, but he didn't understand that the porch light had to be on for people to give him candy. He had so much fun!

Kaiden was a little dragon.

Mike was a serial killer.
I was a pregnant witch.

My handsome trick or treaters!

Pumpkin Carving

This evening we carved our pumpkins. Kaiden colored on his pumpkin, but helped Mike and I carve ours. It was a lot of fun sharing this experience with Kaiden. He is becoming such a big boy.

Baking

This afternoon Kaiden and I baked some cookies for Mike. Mike has duty today, so we are going to take him dinner and cookies. Kaiden was a big helper today. It was his first time baking cookies. Sure I didn't make the dough, I bought the simple cookies that you just put on the cookie sheet and bake for like 10 minutes. But it still was cute having Kaiden help.

Mike was very excited to get his cookies that Kaiden made for him. He enjoyed the cookies his little boy made for him.

Apple Festival

Apple Festival in Gettysburg, PA. Lots of fried foods, music and things to do and see!
Kaiden got to ride his first pony. He had such a great time, when his turn was over he did not want to get off the pony. He actually throw a fit, but soon got over it the moment he realized he was being watched and didn't like it to much.
Walking around... love the way Kaiden hold on to his Daddy; by the ears.
Kaiden was fascinated with the piglets.
Playing in the kid barn with a bunch of "old time" games, lol. Like throw the bean bag in the bucket and he even tried to hula hoop. Really cute!
Blue grass music was our choice. There were different types of music bands, but Kaiden picked this one to listen to. We also enjoyed pumpkin ice cream while we listened to the music.
Tractor heaven! Kaiden was so happy when we got to the tractors. He got on at least 5 tractors and wondered around looking at all the rest. There were old school and new school tractors, he loved them all!
Watching the tractor rodeo. He clapped when everyone else clapped. He liked watching all the tractors drive around.
