Time to Potty

Feb. 11 - The first day. After like a year of trying every way to teach Kaiden to use the toilet, I decided to use the naked method. And it worked!
Mike was gone for a whole weekend and I figured maybe I should just do it with out help. That way it might be easier on Kaiden... not having two people asking him "need go potty?". SO I started on a Friday. Kaiden woke up at 6 like usual, the moment he got out of bed his diaper and every other item of clothing came off. I sat his training potty in the living room. I did sit it in front of the TV. All I did was every so often ask him if he needed to go, when he would tell me no I would then remind him he has nothing on and that he better not pee on my floor. Which scared him into sitting on the little potty and giving it a shot. After he peed on his little potty and got a mini marshmallows, which after a few times and a few mini marshmallows he really got the hang of going. But he spend the whole day sitting on it... didn't want to play he was so worried of making a mess. He had two little accidents today.
Feb. 12 - Our morning was the same as Feb. 11. This time Kaiden cried and told me he wanted a diaper on and he didn't want to sit on the potty. He even brought me a few of his diapers and cried for me to put them on him saying "mommy please diaper on me". I of course did not back down and told him he would be alright and that this was a good thing. He stopped crying and said "OK". And hung around the potty. He had one little accident.
Feb. 13 - Same as the morning before. But this time he is actually playing and doing his normal routine. And running to the potty, sitting down and going. No accidents.
Feb. 17 - Doing good so far. Today we put big boy underwear on him and he had an accident, but learned that it is not a diaper. He also told us he had to go after realizing he can't go in underwear.
Feb. 25 - Kaiden is a pro at the potty now. He tells us when he needs to go and he loves to flush his stuff down the toilet and e loves to wash his hands.
March 8 - Kaiden has been a potty pro for almost a month now. He holds it when we are out, wears underwear and he is teaching himself to wake up at night to use the bathroom. I wasn't going to teach Kaiden that for about 2 months. But he is teaching himself, so that's good!

If you have tired everything to potty train your kiddos, but nothing has worked and you haven't tired this yet... you really should!
