At Last...

After 4 months, I get to drive 2 hours to pick up Mike from the DC airport. My parents watched Kaiden for a few hours this afternoon so I could get a few hours of sleep, that way I don't fall asleep on the drive. I don't care if he gets in at midnight, I am just so happy that the love of my life finally gets to come home to me and our baby boy.
I really hope Kaiden does good for my parents and doesn't give them a hard time. Maybe he will go to bed before I leave so they don't have problems with that.
Well, I better get going, have to make Kaiden dinner and get ready to get Mike. So excited!!!

Finally!

YES! Finally got our housing stuff from storage. It only took a month! Which is really good, I have heard stories that some people have waited like 2 or 3 months or longer! I pushed Mike into filling out the paper work the moment we got a mailing address, because I didn't want to live in an empty home for months, especially Kaiden. I wanted it to be as homey as possible for Kaiden so he would like the new place. He was feeling a little out of place not having his own stuff. So now that our stuff is here I can't wait to start setting things up so Kaiden can feel more like home.
I can't wait to decorate Kaiden's room, he is getting his very own room!

Today is my wonderful husband, Mike, birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!

Boy or Girl?

Today we found out if our new addition to our family of three is a boy or a girl.
Mike has been hoping for a girl since we found out we are expecting. And I'm proud to say that we will be having a beautiful baby girl right in time for Christmas. What more could we ask for during the holidays.

Home Sweet Home

Well, I wanted my Mom to come with me to Waynesboro and stay with me until Mike got home. Which of course she did! On the drive down to Waynesboro, I called our new home office; just to let them know I would be there to get the keys. The manager had BAD news for me. They had been trying to get a hold of me for a week to tell me that our home was not ready yet, there was some electrical problem. But they had just finished a 3 floor home and it was livable, clean and ready for someone to move in and it could be mine for the same price of the 2 floor home. I told her I had to call Mike to make sure it was alright with him. So I called Mike and he said it was fine. So I called the manager back and told her we would take it. So now we have a bigger home! 1st: dining area, kitchen that opens up to the living room. 2nd: master bedroom with bathroom, 2nd bedroom, din/office, laundry closet and bathroom. 3rd: giant bedroom.
I'm very excited to decorate our new home. I can't wait to share photos with everyone!
OH YEAH WE HAVE INTERNET NOW... YAY!!!
