Admiral Baker Park

Today we went to the park; Kristen and her little girl Brooklyn joined us! It was a really cloudy and chilly day. It felt like it was going to rain (thankfully it didn't rain till we got home). Kaiden & Brooklyn played, crawled and walked around in the grass. They swung in the bucket swings for a little bit. It was a really nice day for the park.

Our Little Trouble Maker

Lately Kaiden has been curious about the blinds, lol. You know that string you pull to open the blinds, he loves it. I'll walk into the living room and there he is trying to make it work. He watches me while I open and close them so he tries to do it also.

He loves cheerios!! So much that he saves some in weird places... for instances, his little tushy!!

His toy box... he plays for a while and loses interest; Mike or I will pick up his toys, and put them back into the bind (toy box). Well, this is his mess... he'll pull every toy he wants out. He'll search through his bind just to find the toy he wants!!

There is this bowl of chocolate kisses and dove chocolates that sit on the end table in the living room. Well Kaiden can now reach it, so he grabs chocolate... doesn't ever do anything with it. But this time he stuck the wrapped and all in his mouth, scrapped off some of the wrapper with his 2 bottom teeth. Mike took the chocolate away from him and I moved the bowl. Well, this is what happened next...

Jeff's Home...

Mike's brother Jeff has been gone on a 8 month deployment. They got back last night!! He came to visit us this afternooon, he couldn't stay long... he had to be at work early in the morning. Kaiden was a little confused... Mike & Jeff look very much alike! But he warmed up to Jeff, so it was nice. It was also nice to see Jeff again. We hope to see him again... very soon!

Mike's 23rd Birthday!!!

If you know Mike, you would know he wouldn't like to do anything on his birthday. I had been bugging him for a good 2 weeks about "what do you want to do for your birthday" he said nothing. So he finally told me that he wants to relax at home and not have to worry about anything, grill, watch a movie and spend time with his beautiful family.

Today: we went to walmart (great store). Came home and watched Kaiden play with an empty box, lol.Roberto's for lunch (Mike's favorite Mexican hole in the wall place to get amazing burritos). Mike went to the gym! Went to the park so Kaiden could swing in the bucket swing and play in the grass.

Home relaxing... grilled Steak and zucchini on the charcoal grill.

Make a wish... Mike didn't want a cake. He wanted cheese cake.!! And watched the Watchmen.

Hiking on Saturday Morning

This Saturday morning we felt like getting up at a decent hour and going on a nice stroll. We went to Mission Gorge Trails. Kaiden likes getting fresh air! Mike & I used to hike and rock climb before Kaiden came into our lives. So we decided a nice walk would be great for us to do on Saturday mornings. Who knows it could become a routine.

Couples Bowling

We went bowling this evening. Kaiden went on his first date, even though he had no idea he was on one. I'm sure he didn't even care, he was more interested with the sport than his date. You know how guys are when its comes to sports and girls. Sports always win... unless your a smart guy, lol. We went with our friends Kristen & Dustin & their little girl Brooklyn.
