Pumpkin's!

Today we went to walmart to buy our pumpkins. I know your suppose to go to a pumpkin patch to pick them out, but this was the only day Mike had to do anything as a family. His been gone a lot lately! Anyway, here are a few photos of Kaiden with the pumpkins.

Where Is Daddy???

Mike has been gone a lot this month. Today was the first time in 2 weeks that he has been home. Kaiden was so happy when he saw Mike walk through the front door... he ran right to his Daddy and was attached to him for hours. Mike stepped out to check the mail and Kaiden flipped out. When I say flipped out; he ran to the door screaming for Mike and started crying. I thought it was cute and so sweet, so I video typed a little bit of it. So please adjust your volume...

Birch Aquarium

Today we went to the aquarium in La Jolla. Kaiden had such a good time running from tank to tank. Sadly for him he couldn't quite see the fishes unless he was picked up, which he got upset when you did pick him up until he realized he could see the fishes better then he was amazed!

A Mall Ride

We went to the mall today... just to wonder around, didn't buy anything. We let Kaiden ride on those little funny rides. He had a great time!!

PIZZA... Yummy

Today was the first time Kaiden ever had pizza. I made home-made hawaiian pizza. Kaiden really loved it... look for yourself how much he loved it!

Kaiden's Birthday Party!!!

We had Kaiden's first birthday party at Admiral Baker Park. It was a nice day/hot day. The kids ran around playing on the jungle gyms and playing in the grass and trying to blow bubbles.

We wanted his party to be a little bit of both worlds. So mike got to grill bugers and hot dogs!! Of course we had cake. There was a pinata, and favor boxes.

The little kids weren't really sure what to do with the pinata, we told them to hit it a few times. Of course they couldn't break it, so Mike had the honor of breaing it. The kids grabbed a handful of candy and toys that fell to the ground. And the adults had fun picking up some candy and toys too. It was a good fun time. And here are some photos...

Admiral Baker Park

Today we went to the park; Kristen and her little girl Brooklyn joined us! It was a really cloudy and chilly day. It felt like it was going to rain (thankfully it didn't rain till we got home). Kaiden & Brooklyn played, crawled and walked around in the grass. They swung in the bucket swings for a little bit. It was a really nice day for the park.

That's right people... he kinda walks!!!

Our Little Trouble Maker

Lately Kaiden has been curious about the blinds, lol. You know that string you pull to open the blinds, he loves it. I'll walk into the living room and there he is trying to make it work. He watches me while I open and close them so he tries to do it also.

He loves cheerios!! So much that he saves some in weird places... for instances, his little tushy!!

His toy box... he plays for a while and loses interest; Mike or I will pick up his toys, and put them back into the bind (toy box). Well, this is his mess... he'll pull every toy he wants out. He'll search through his bind just to find the toy he wants!!

There is this bowl of chocolate kisses and dove chocolates that sit on the end table in the living room. Well Kaiden can now reach it, so he grabs chocolate... doesn't ever do anything with it. But this time he stuck the wrapped and all in his mouth, scrapped off some of the wrapper with his 2 bottom teeth. Mike took the chocolate away from him and I moved the bowl. Well, this is what happened next...

Jeff's Home...

Mike's brother Jeff has been gone on a 8 month deployment. They got back last night!! He came to visit us this afternooon, he couldn't stay long... he had to be at work early in the morning. Kaiden was a little confused... Mike & Jeff look very much alike! But he warmed up to Jeff, so it was nice. It was also nice to see Jeff again. We hope to see him again... very soon!
