Merry Christmas

Christmas... Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you had a wonderful holiday!

This morning Kaiden woke up at 6:30; he came down stairs and saw all his gifts under the tree. He didn't know what to do, he just looked and walked around, glancing up at Mike and I every now and then. Mike gave him one of his gifts and told him to open it, he was really careful with the paper. But once he got into ripping the paper it was all over the wrapping paper didn't stand a chance.

My mom made breakfast it was really good! Then after breakfast Kaiden & Mike played with their new toys. After a few hours of watching Kaiden and Mike having a great time with all their new play guns, remote plains and remote cars/trucks. Mike and I began to make Christmas dinner. It was fun cooking with Mike. We just had a relaxing and fun Christmas day!

STORY: Kaiden & I were walking in Wal*Mat one day. Kaiden gasped and said "daddy's" with a big smile on his face. So naturally we had to get it. It was a camouflage cosmetic bag

Christmas Eve

Today we just hung out, watched some Christmas shows and got last minute things done for tomorrow. It was a really nice day. Hopefully it snows tomorrow... It snowed once like a week ago, but hasn't since.
This afternoon Kaiden helped decorate a gingerbread house. He had a great time sticking the gumdrops on the house and of course eating them. It was fun sharing this experience with Kaiden!

We took the kids to look at Christmas lights. Kaiden was oooing and aweing at all the lights, he had a great time. Nevy slept right through it.
As you can tell we let Kaiden "drive" around the tracks of light.

Date - Shooting Range

Today we went out for a date. Its been months since we had gone on a date; Mike wanted to take me to shoot his gun like 2 months ago. But we didn't go because I was pregnant. So we went today, it was so much fun. Shooting a gun is such a rush. I was a little nervous at first, but it was totally awesome! Best date ever - hands down. I love you baby!

Papa & Gandma's Visit.

Today Papa & Grandma drove down to meet Nevaeh & to see Kaiden. Kaiden was really excited to see his grandparents. It was a very nice visit. Sadly Mike had duty this whole weekend, so he missed their visit.

A Week Later

Its been a week & a day since Nevy was born. She is so beautiful! Its amazing and so unreal at times, but when you hardly get to sleep and now two little ones depend on you for everything; reality hits. But despite everything, our lives are perfect and we love our babies. They complete our lives and always makes us smile & laugh!

What's happened in the last week...

Kaiden met his baby sister 5 hours after she was born. He wasn't to sure what to think of her at first. He liked the idea of getting a gift from her. And then the moment he held her in his arms he claimed her as "my baby". He gave her lots of kisses and stared at her, like he had found a diamond in the rough. He cried when Mike picked her back up and said "no, my baby. back, back. my baby!"

Saturday... HOME! We got to come home... which was great. We were already getting sick & annoyed at the hospital. All we wanted was to go home with our little girl. And we really wanted to see Kaiden. He had spent the last few days with my parents. They would come up to the hospital to visit for a few hours. Mike went home to spend time with Kaiden, that way Kaiden wouldn't feel neglected or be against the baby because our focus is all on her. Being home is a wonderful thing! Since we have been home, we have done so many things.

ONE WEEK OLD!

Mike & I had a date with our big boy. We went to Pet Smart to see snakes, fishes and cats. Then we went to the mall to wonder around and let him play on those $.25 rides. Then we had lunch, we took him to his favorite pizza joint... Brothers Pizza. Where we had pineapple pizza... Kaiden's favorite.

Nevy went out on her first outing... to walmart! Ha, its funny. Kaiden's first outing was to walmart also. And they were both 1 week old. It looks like a tradition is forming here.
