Goofing Around

Kaiden gets rally hyper sometimes before he goes to bed. This is something he and I do. He loves his cheeks being squished and jiggled, he doesn't mind being tickled. He likes grabbing noses, smacking faces and pulling on clothing. This is just a way he likes to play. Plus it tires him out!

Grantville Park

We normally go to Admiral Baker Park. But the other day we were driving around and found this neighborhood park. They have swings, bucket swings, slides, a big grassy field and the seahorse ride. Oh, now Kaiden loves the bucket swings, but his new favorite thing is the seahorse ride. The first 4 photos were taken on Mike's phone. It was the first time we had been to this park. The photos that follow are from 2 days ago and were taken on the camera!

Big Kid Cup

Kaiden had been interested in drinking out of a cup for a LONG time. We would let him drink water out of our cups here and there, but he always made a mess. The other day, we went to Burger King I think... anyways, Mike was holding his drink (it was a Sprite) and Kaiden. Kaiden normally just puts the straw in his mouth, but he doesn't get anything. Well, this time he did!!! Mike and I were totally amazed and super happy about it. So today after Mike got off work, we went to wal*mart and bought Kaiden a cup with a permanent straw. He loves it!!!

At the Pool.

We took Kaiden to the pool this afternoon. He seemed to have enjoyed the water. Mike and Kaiden swam in the pool. I on the other hand sat in the side lines and just watched, water and I aren't very good friends. At least big bodies of water! It was a really nice, warm day. We did all our errands and had nothing to do. So we thought the pool would be a good idea. Which it was!

Finger Painting

Today we let Kaiden finger paint!! We never let him get messy or dirty; so when we decided to let him finger paint he wasn't to sure what to do.

He had a wonderful time. I think he had more fun crunching up the paper than painting on it. It was the cutest thing ever to watch. Mike took some photos to share with you. Hope you enjoy!!

Awesome Crib!!

Kaiden didn't really have a crib for a long time. We had bought a pack n' play with a bassinette . A few days ago we (mike & I) were talking about how we really need to buy Kaiden a new crib. Especially since Kaiden was to long for his pack n' play.

We had looked every where for a crib that was simple we liked and didn't cost a fortune!! If you have ever been to our home you can tell we love IKEA (everything is from there [except a few things] BUT STILL), so Mike decided to look online for some cribs from IKEA. We found one we liked, then checked to see if they had it in our store and drove over. It was perfect!!! It was a mire $100 and it was simple and did I say perfect!! So we picked it up at the warehouse and bought it.

I think he likes it!!!

Fohawk....???

So Kaiden doesn't have a lot of hair. I wanted to give him a mohawk the other day but it didn't really work. I kind of got a fohawk out of him instead!!

Birch Aquarium

Today we went to the Birch Aquarium, in La Jolla. Kaiden had a good time! He kept trying to grab the fishes through the glass. He was amazed by the way they moved and their colors.
