Father & Son First Annual Fishing Trip

The boys took off for a week, on a man trip. Mike normally does the fishing trip with his Dad and Uncle. Its a man family thing. This year Kaiden was invited to go with them on their big man adventure fishing trip. Kaiden was so excited and he had the best time ever! 

They fished at Black Bridge, Kaiden eneded up finding and keeping a garden snake. They had breakfast at one of our favorite "hole in the wall" The Grease Spoon. Explored Rock City, fished on kayakes down the Conewango River. Went shooting, had a bon-fire and had a great time visiting and seeing some family.

Gettysburg Battlefield

This morning it was so gloomy so I wasn't planning on doing to much. But by lunch time it became so beautiful out that I couldn't not stay home. So I gather the kiddies up and took them to lunch and to Gettysburg. Kaiden had such a great time. He asked so many questions about the battlefield, wanted to know all about the war and why people were fighting. Then he wanted to climb a HUGE look out tower... there was 93 steps ONE WAY! It was super cool. Kaiden and Nevaeh just looked out for the longest time... just amazed on the beauty of it all.

The babies & I made Mike a t-shirt for Father's Day. The orange hand print is Kaiden and the purple is Nevaeh's... it's their actual hand print. They also paint some canvases for him and made him a homemade card.
